10. Start with a food journal
The first thing that you need to do even before you begin your very own food diary is to understand the importance of how much calories that you need to intake per day. The amount should be based on your height and your ideal weight. As soon as you have figured out your daily calorie requirement, make a promise to yourself that you don’t exceed this number by writing down everything that you eat on your food journal. It would be extra helpful if you input the calories you’ve eaten for that day so you can compute it accordingly. This can immensely help you keep track on your goal of losing weight.
