4. Cleaning up
When using you applicators for makeup, make sure that you also clean them up as often as possible. Better yet, buy new ones from time to time. It may be pretty expensive, but is cheaper than treating acne break outs. If you use a dirty applicator, the dirt in it can cause acne and it can also be the medium for bacteria-causing acne to spread onto your facial skin.
